Basic Tattoo Care Guide...

The following information is for the basic level of aftercare of a new tattoo. If you have any problems with your tattoo you should contact the artist or shop that did the work, or tell us about your problem in our forum and we will try to help you as best we can.

1. Keep the tattoo covered as advised.
2. Remove the dressing and wash gently with soap and warm water.
3. Pat the tattoo dry. DO NOT RUB!
4. Apply Preparation "H" ointment, or Savlon antiseptic cream (or equivelent).
5. Repeat the process at least twice daily until the tattoo has completely healed.
6. DO NOT PICK the tattoo.
7. Keep the tattoo clean at all times until healed.
